Canterbury City Council provide services and facilities to 160,000 residents living in Canterbury, Whitstable & Herne Bay. The development of a digitally focussed identity was coupled with launch of a new website focussing on making digital transactions as efficient as possible. Through continued use of the Canterbury Cathedral graphic, the more relaxed aesthetic helps to reflect the organisation’s values of openness and accessibility. With a logotype that can be abstracted and scaled more effectively, the new brand mark remains iconic in mobile, web and print environments.
